Abstract

However, the form or model of an educational institution, including the type of pesantren, of course places the curriculum as an important foundation for the teaching and learning process even though the application at the institutional level varies because it is adapted to the real conditions of an institution. Although pesantren have been known to be conservative and synonymous with traditional Islamic areas, basically pesantren are still open to change. Even historically, according to Nurcholish Madjid's view, pesantren does not only contain Islamic meaning, but also Indonesian indigenous. From some of the reasons and backgrounds that have been stated above, the problems that want to be investigated are; (1) How is the Implementation of Curriculum Development for the Qomaruddin Sampurnan Bungah Gresik Islamic Boarding School? (2) What is the Curriculum Innovation Pattern in order to advance the Curriculum Development of the Qomaruddin Sampurnan Bungah Gresik Islamic Boarding School? The research approach used is a qualitative approach which has a characteristic that lies in its purpose, which is to describe everything related to the overall activity of internalizing moral values to students in order to achieve the desired goal, the type of research used is a case study, which is a test. in detail against a setting, a subject, a document repository, or a particular event. Meanwhile, for data collection using the method of observation, interviews, documentation and literature review.
