FUNGSI MANAJEMEN PENGGERAKAN DAN PENGAWASAN

Abstract

Management functions are essential to the success of any organization, including Islamic educational institutions. Among these, actuating and controlling are two key functions that play a significant role in carrying out organizational activities. Actuating functions to direct, motivate, and coordinate all human resources to carry out tasks in accordance with predetermined goals. Meanwhile, controlling aims to ensure that the implementation of activities proceeds according to plan and to take corrective actions in the event of deviations. This article aims to explain the definition, process, benefits, and the relationship between the actuating and controlling functions based on a review of management theory. The results of the study indicate that these two functions are interrelated in creating organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Without proper actuating, planning cannot be implemented optimally, whereas controlling helps ensure that activities remain aligned with the established objectives. Management functions are essential to the success of any organization, including Islamic educational institutions. Among these, actuating and controlling are two key functions that play a significant role in carrying out organizational activities.
